Salon Showcase 2011-W38

Thank heaven for the blogmaster's vault.  We had to cancel Salon today, but we can present reserved works by Eileen and Steve.  This week, along with a couple blog milestones — our 1,500th US blog view and first sub-Saharan Africa visit (Kenya) — we reach the series finale, the possibly most heinous Face of Evil alive...  or some facsimile of "alive".  Boo Hiss!
