Salon Showcase 2012-W04

We had nearly a full house today, and there was much work to do on our previously mentioned secret project as well as the showcase pieces.  In addition, the blog page changed in a subtle way...  see if you can espy how so.  Last, and most exciting, this week we welcomed a view from our 30th foreign country.   Obrigado to our visitor from Brazil!

Salon Showcase 2012-W03

Heavens to Betsy (Hell's Bells!!), another giant snowstorm in the hours leading up to Salon... which today turned out to be an all boy event.  So, while the toilet seat remained in the upright and locked position, we worked on a top secret project —eventually to be revealed— as well as the works below.  Enjoy!

Salon Showcase 2012-W02

After wonderful weeks of warm "brown" winter, we got smacked by a rather large helping of snow two days back.  Nevertheless Salon soldiers bravely on—albeit with only half the usual suspects in attendance today.  Marge completed a work, Steve paid tribute to a family member, and David began a series of creative exercises.
In contrast to the blindingly white snow, our colorful efforts are below.  Enjoy!

Salon Showcase 2012-W01

We hope that 2012 is off to a good start for you all.  After our holiday hiatus, all were eager to make art...  and just as eager to gab about our experiences from the past few weeks.  Eventually the lively jibber-jabber tapered off to where we could put our brushes/pencils to paper/yupo/canvas — and voila.  Happy New Year!
