Salon Showcase 2012-W08

A crisp but sunny day outside, and sunny were our moods as well.  We spent the day painting, catching up on some good gab, and planning a Salon SynchronicityTM for next week.  In all liklihood mostly the middle one — yet we still managed to craft the works below for your enjoyment.  Check back next week to see how we sync up!

Salon Showcase 2012-W07

Thursday, we were graced with our first international blog visit from Nigeria...  and thankfully it weren't some deposed prince offering to share family gold in exchange for some modest fees-in-advance for the transfer.  More seriously, various minor ailments have taken down half the Salon membership.  So as they say in Nigeria,
"get well soon"!  We miss our mates and hope you — and they — enjoy our efforts.

Salon Showcase 2012-W06

Quite a cold morning here in Chicago, but if that sounds like a complaint, it ain't.
We've had few of these bitter temperature blasts to endure this winter.  With mid-February all but officially here, the days start getting longer at an accelerating pace.  Exhilirating!  Molly Gilchrist joined us again, thus we had a full house to prepare these works for you.  Please enjoy them.

Salon Showcase 2012-W05

Kinda blah here in Chicago today, but our spirits were bouyed by a certain birthday girl — and the array of sinful food in celebration thereof.  As well, we were joined by guest artist Molly Gilchrist as she made her foray into the exciting world of watercolor painting.  Welcome to the madness, Molly!  Lastly, for the second week in a row we have a new country joining our growing table of international blog visits.  Bien venido, Argentina...  que disfrute!
