Salon Roundup 2012-W30

July has been a bad month for many, although shareholders in the local electric utility must be rubbing their hands together with glee.  As are we, to a lesser extent and for a better reason.  In the past few weeks, we've had a huge surge in blog views.  And we had our first international visitor from Israel (shalom) and that makes over 375 international visits from 43 countries.  We might even hit 3,500 total visits yet this month.  All this is both incredible and very pleasing to us.  Thanks for stopping by!

Today, one Salon member-artist is at a special Saturday edition of her book club, another is buzzing around Argentina, and three of us are joining up with some Truman College art mates to sketch en plein air at Chicago's best known graveyard, Graceland Cemetery.  We'll skim the cream of that crop and store it in the Vault for a rainy day...  more of which we could sure use.  Meanwhile, the blogmaster rounded up this week's "off-campus" works for us all to enjoy.  Peace!
